Mohamad Saad, MD

Program Director

Dr. Mohamad Saad trained at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and holds an MBA with a specialization in healthcare management. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine (ABLM).

Dr. Saad has held several key leadership roles, including Chairman of Medicine, Founding Director of the Hospitalist Department, Founding Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program, and Associate Chief Medical Officer. As a certified physician executive and an International Coaching Federation certified coach, he strives to manage patients and mentor residents in a holistic approach.

He is the recipient of numerous awards recognizing his excellence in teaching and patient care.

Syed Zaidi, MD

Associate Program Director

Dr. Zaidi started his medical journey in Karachi, Pakistan where he attended medical school. Afterwards, he moved to Michigan to complete his residency in internal medicine. He served as a Chief Resident for his Residency Program. Dr. Zaidi has been with HCA since 2018 in multiple capacities. He is one of the Associate Program Director and is in charge of Board review, residents' committee and residents' education. He is a dedicated member of the GME Program and is heavily involved in resident teaching and wellness. His goal is to turn his residents into versatile, educated and competent attendings.

In his free time, he plays with his children, explores restaurants around Tampa and reads non-medical books.

William J Bugni MD, FACC

Dr. William Bugni received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Chicago and obtained his training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology from the University of Utah. Dr. Bugni is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Cardiovascular Diseases from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Enid Klauber, MD

Dr. Klauber received her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean. She completed her residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan and her Infectious Disease fellowship at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. She is certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Andrew Niclosi, MD

Dr. Niclosi is originally from Memphis, Tennessee and went to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center for Medical School before coming to Brandon Hospital to complete his internal medicine residency, graduating in 2022. He has been working with the residency since graduation, and participates in the Morbidity and Mortality Committee and Simulation Lab Committee within the program. He has a special interest in POCUS and hopes to use it more on rounds over time. Outside of work he enjoys hanging out with his family, playing golf, and cooking.
