Welcome to Trident General Surgery Residency Program. We are located in Charleston, South Carolina and only a stone’s throw away from historic downtown. Charleston has multiple historic landmarks, beautiful parks and beaches, and an abundance of things to see and do. Old meets new at our two cutting-edge hospital campuses that host faculty across multiple specialties in the realm of general surgery. We are a brand-new program and our goal is to create competent, caring surgeons who can operate on our own family members. You will have the opportunity to help build a new program from the ground up. You will also have help from dedicated faculty and research staff to assist you through your training.
