Kavitha Arabindoo, MD

Graduated from Wesley FM Residency in 2004 and in academic medicine ever since! LOVES patient care (outpatient and inpatient) and teaching at the bedside. Enjoys short distance running, swimming, cooking Indian food, watching movies, having medical conversations with family (also in medicine) and spending time with her dog.

Revathi Bhat, MD

An internist with fellowships in geriatrics and critical care, she is the director of inpatient services for the residency and chairs a few committees at Research Medical Center. Loves to cook healthy Indian food and swim. She is also a talented artist (water colors).

Terry Suppes, DO

Graduate of the Baptist Trinity FM Residency Program and board certified in geriatrics, he has been doing outpatient and inpatient medicine for many years with the residency program. Also does OMM and outpatient procedures. In addition to his three adult children, he parents numerous pets – dogs, cats and coy fish.

Gazala Parvin, MD

Graduate from the Research FM Residency Program, she enjoys outpatient and hospital medicine. Fellowship trained and board certified in Integrative Medicine, she is the director of the IM Track. Loves to demonstrate anti-inflammatory diet cooking, loves her family and cat and writes poetry in her free time.

Jennifer Kelley, MD

Graduate from the Baptist Trinity FM Residency Program, she does outpatient medicine, outpatient procedures and oversees the community medicine block and home visits for the residents. Enjoys spending time w/ her 3 grown children, and 2 weenie dogs, Marbles and Gigi, singing, reading, playing tennis and wine tasting.

Tricia Fairchild, MD

Graduate from the Genesis FM Residency Program, IA, she enjoys outpatient medicine with interests in urology, obesity medicine and sexual health and has a wound care clinic at Lees’ Summit MC. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and 2 dogs, traveling, musicals, gardening and baking.

Ashley Cefalu, DO

Graduate of Research FM Residency Program, she is the director of Women’s Health services at RFM and enjoys outpatient medicine, OB, breastfeeding medicine, and OMM. In her free time, she loves to read, crochet, making (and drinking) coffee, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and two pugs.

Drake Duckworth, MD

Graduate from Cahaba Medical Medicine Residency - Urban in Birmingham, AL, his professional interests include POCUS, preventative care, and hospital medicine. His theoretical hobbies include playing guitar, reading non-fiction, and being outdoorsy. His actual hobbies include chasing kids around with his wife, intentional time with friends, and laundry.
