Kiely M Schultz, DO

Program Director

Dr. Schultz works as both a Primary Care Internist and a Hospitalist. She joined our program in June of 2024 as Program Director. She was previously the Director of the Graduate Medical Education department and Designated Institutional Official for Parkview Medical Center as well as the Director of Osteopathic Education and core faculty for Parkview’s IM residency program. She is board certified in Internal Medicine through both ABIM and AOBIM and has her MBA in healthcare administration as well as being a Certified Physician Executive. Dr Schultz is passionate about medical education as well as healthcare leadership and believes in trying to use multiple skills to be a well-rounded general internist, including POCUS, osteopathic and procedural skills.

Omar Tayeh, MD

Associate Program Director

Dr. Tayeh joined our core faculty in July 2021 and is clinically active as a hospitalist. Dr. Tayeh started in the role of Associate Program Director in July 2024. After graduating from University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine, he completed his internal medicine residency training at Lincoln Medical Center in Bronx, NY. Dr. Tayeh enjoys taking road trips when he can to see new states and towns. In his free time at home he likes to spend it playing Legos with his daughters.

Peter Dourdoufis, DO

Core Faculty

Dr. Dourdoufis joined as core faculty in July 2020. He graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Hahnemann University Hospital. Dr. Dourdoufis has been serving the Seacoast as a cardiologist for over 20 years. As an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, Super Bowl 52 was the best day of his life!

Elie Salem, MD

Core Faculty

Dr. Salem joined PRH as a hospitalist in 2012 and has been working as core faculty since January of 2023. He graduated from American University of Beirut, St. George’s University, and completed his residency at St. Michael’s Medical Center. Dr. Salem is board certified, and fellowship trained in internal medicine and infectious disease. He has a special interest in patient safety and quality improvement in healthcare. When Dr. Salem is not busy seeing patients, he enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his family. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.

Lauren Yoo, DO

Core Faculty

Dr. Yoo graduated from Williams College, Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, and completed her medical training at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Michigan. She joined Portsmouth Internal Medicine Associates as an outpatient internist and core faculty in 2022. In her free time Dr. Yoo enjoys spending time chasing after her 3 little boys and convincing residents that outpatient IM is the best field of medicine.

Katelyn Hanson, DO

Core Faculty

Dr. Hanson joined PRH as an Intensivist and member of core faculty for the Internal Medicine program in August of 2023. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine. She graduated from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017. She completed her residency and fellowship training within the Jefferson Health system in Philadelphia, PA, prior to moving back to her hometown of Portsmouth, New Hampshire to practice.

Karim Mina, MD

Core Faculty

Dr Mina joined core faculty in 2025. He has a master’s degree in health care research and did a liver transplant fellowship. He is one of the hospitalists at PRH and has been very involved with teaching residents and medical students over the years.
