Dr. Hinckley is triple boarded in psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and addiction medicine. After completing his clinical training at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Dr. Hinckley remained as faculty, co-founding and directing the Addiction Biology Lab and serving as Director of Adolescent Psychiatric Services for the Addition Research and Treatment Services Program and Associate Medical Director of psychiatric emergency services at UCHealth. Dr. Hinckley joined EIRMC in 2023 and became program director as of September 2025. Dr. Hinckley is also a dedicated educator. He has developed curricula for multiple state and national training programs and currently serves as a consultant for the Opioid Response Network. Outside of professional responsibilities, Dr. Hinckley is an avid choral musician, sports and wildlife photographer, dog breeder and trainer, and bibliophile.

Matthew Larsen, DO

Dr. Larsen is double Board-Certified in adult and child psychiatry. He earned his medical degree from Des Moines University, completed his General Psychiatry Residency in Reno, Nevada in 2013, and completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Larsen enjoys teaching and writing. Dr. Larsen hopes to stay in Southeast Idaho for his entire career, serving in the community where he was raised.

Mary Beth Ostrom, MD

Dr. Ostrom is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist working at EIRMC's Behavioral Health Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The Center is a psychiatric hospital providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults from the across the region, including Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. Dr. Ostrom is a member of the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. She completed her Residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and attended Medical School at the University of Texas.

Daniel Lilligren, MD

Dr. Lilligren is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist working at EIRMC's Behavioral Health Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The Center is a psychiatric hospital providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults from the across the region, including Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. He received his M.D. from The University of Tennessee and completed residency at The University of Kansas, where he served as Chief Resident. He is board-certified in General Psychiatry.

Dean Shandy, DO

Dr. Shandy is double Board-Certified Psychiatrist, in general and child psychiatry, working at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot and Idaho Falls, Idaho. He completed medical school at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine followed by a Residency in Psychiatry at Millcreek Community Hospital and a Fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry from University Hospitals of Cleveland, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

Leslie Miller, MD

Dr Miller is triple Board-Certified, in Pediatrics, General psychiatry, and child & adolescent psychiatry, working at Pearl Health Clinic in Ammon, Idaho. She completed medical school at East Carolina University, Brody School of Medicine and triple residency training at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Miller is excited to bring her diverse life experience and training to Idaho and become a part of the Idaho Falls Community through her work at Pearl Health Clinic.
